The Battered Women and Children’s Memorial Garden asks everyone to maintain an environment of peaceful quiet while gardening. Our silence while gardening bears witness to all those affected by violence and oppression. We remain silent while gardening except when it is necessary to communicate quietly about the tasks at hand. Please turn off or silence any electronic devices. If you use a device please separate from the group so that no one can hear you.
